What is the difference between Pro and Free?
Pro users get 10,000 items of history, the ability to paste images as text, and soon the ability to sync files and folders. Free users get a one-month trial and after that, 100 items of sync and history.
Why isn't Planck completely free?
Planck offers a generous free tier for most users. Premium features require cloud infrastructure and ongoing development costs. The Pro tier helps us sustainably maintain Planck while keeping your data secure across all devices.
What happens to my synced data if I exceed the free tier limits?
We don't automatically delete your clipboard history when you reach the 100-item limit on the free tier. If you upgrade to Pro, you'll immediately regain access to your previous clipboard items (up to 10,000).This means you can try the free tier without worrying about losing your history if you decide to upgrade later. You can always request complete deletion of your data at any time.
